Tasting Room

After six generations of winemaking in Australia, the Gilbert family opened The Cellar by Gilbert in 2016. Located on the edge of town in Mudgee, the stunning sandstone building offers guests the chance to enjoy award-winning wines and small bites made from locally sourced and homegrown produce in a relaxed, wine-bar like environment.

The Cellar by Gilbert offers both current and museum release Gilbert wines from Orange, Mudgee and Eden Valley.

Enjoy a choice of two structured tastings with our friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable cellar door staff.

The Gilbert Flight is $15 and designed to showcase a broad range of our wine. Taste through six Gilbert wines including white, rosé, and red.

The Feature Flight is $20 and curated to give you a deeper understanding of a particular wine style, or variety. Visit our reservations page to find out more about our current signature, single vineyard wines feature flight.

After your tasting experience, stay to enjoy a glass of wine with our Grazing Board or some Small Bites, available Thursday through Sunday.
